Built around how Matrix actually works
Any homeserver
matrix.org, a self-hosted Synapse or Conduit server, or a company deployment: enter the homeserver address and it works.
Post as a bot account
Create a separate account for announcements, invite it to the room, and use its token so posts don't come from your personal account.
Formatting kept
Bold, italic, links and lists are sent as Matrix formatted messages, so they render properly in Element and other clients.
How to schedule a Matrix post
Four steps, about two minutes the first time. After that it's write, tweak, schedule.

Join the room
Sign in to the account that should post and make sure it has joined the room.

Copy the access token
In Element, open Settings, then Help & About, expand Advanced and copy the access token.

Find the room ID
Open the room settings, then Advanced, and copy the internal room ID, which starts with !.

Connect and schedule
Enter the homeserver, token and room ID in Postoni, then write and schedule your message.

Does Postoni publish automatically to Matrix?
Yes. At the scheduled time Postoni sends the message to the room through your homeserver's client API.
Does it work with encrypted rooms?
No. Postoni can't encrypt messages end to end, so use a room without encryption, such as a public announcements room.
Will the token stop working?
An access token stays valid until you sign out of the session it belongs to. If you sign out of that session in Element, reconnect the channel with a new token.
Can I post to several rooms?
Yes. Add one connection per room. You can reuse the same token for each.
