Does Postoni publish automatically to a LinkedIn Page?
Yes. After the post is scheduled and approved, Postoni publishes it to the page through LinkedIn's API at the chosen time. Nobody needs to be online.
What is the character limit for LinkedIn Page posts?
The same as profiles: 3,000 characters. Posts with the main point in the first two lines tend to do better, because LinkedIn truncates the rest behind 'see more'.
Is anything on LinkedIn Pages not supported?
Polls, events, LinkedIn Live and page newsletters can't be created through the API, so do those in LinkedIn directly. LinkedIn also limits how many posts a page can make per day, so very high volumes may be spread out.
Do I need to be a page admin?
Yes. LinkedIn only lets page admins post on a page's behalf, so connect with an account that has admin rights on that company page.
