Does Postoni publish automatically to YouTube?

Yes. Postoni uploads the video through the YouTube Data API at the scheduled time with the title, description, tags, privacy and thumbnail you set.

What are YouTube's text limits?

Titles can be up to 100 characters and descriptions up to 5,000. Tags are limited to about 500 characters in total, which Postoni checks for you.

Is anything on YouTube not supported?

Playlists, end screens, cards and community posts aren't set from Postoni, so do those in YouTube Studio. Custom thumbnails need a verified YouTube account; if yours isn't verified, the video still uploads without one.

How do I post a YouTube Short?

Upload a vertical video that fits YouTube's Shorts length, and YouTube treats it as a Short automatically. Adding #Shorts to the title or description can help it get picked up.
