Does Postoni publish automatically to TikTok?

Yes, when you choose direct post. The video or photo carousel goes live at your scheduled time with your settings. Upload mode is the exception: it only sends the media to your TikTok inbox, and you have 24 hours to finish it there.

What is the TikTok caption limit in Postoni?

Postoni caps TikTok captions at 2,000 characters, which is plenty for a hook, context and hashtags. Most viewers only see the first line, so lead with it.

What can't be automated on TikTok?

Trending sounds, effects, stickers and text overlays added inside TikTok can't be applied through the API. Bake them into the video before uploading, or use upload mode and add them in the app.

Do privacy, duet and stitch settings apply to photo posts?

Privacy and comments do. Duet, stitch and the AI label only exist for videos on TikTok, so they're ignored when you post photos.
