Medium scheduling FAQ
Does Postoni publish automatically to Medium?
Yes for your profile: the story goes live at the scheduled time. Stories sent to a publication arrive as drafts, because publications review submissions first.
Is there a Medium character limit?
No hard limit. Postoni accepts long-form articles, and Medium handles the formatting from your Markdown.
Can every Medium account connect?
Not always. Medium has stopped issuing new integration tokens to many accounts. If you don't see the integration token option in your Medium settings, Postoni can't connect to that account.
Can I edit a story after Postoni publishes it?
Yes, but edits happen on Medium. Medium's API only creates stories, so updates and stats stay in Medium.
