What your agent can do

The Postoni MCP server exposes the same building blocks you use in the app.

  • List channels

See every connected account, with each network's limits and settings.

  • Draft and schedule posts

Create posts for one or many channels, tailored per network, at a chosen time.

  • Read the calendar

Find gaps, check what's queued and avoid double-posting.

  • Upload media

Attach images and videos so posts are complete before you review them.

  • Respect channel options

Set things like subreddit and flair, YouTube privacy or Instagram post type.

  • Hand back to you

Agent posts land as drafts, ready for your approval.

MCP server FAQ

Is the MCP server included in my plan?

Yes, on every plan and in the free trial. There's no separate fee for MCP or API access.

How do agents authenticate?

Claude and ChatGPT use OAuth: you sign in with Postoni and approve access. Other clients send an API key from Settings as a Bearer token in the Authorization header.

Can an agent publish without approval?

Agent-created posts arrive as drafts by default, so a person approves them before they publish.

Which transport does it use?

Streamable HTTP at https://postoni.com/mcp. Clients that only support stdio can use a small MCP proxy.
