How to schedule a Ghost post

Four steps, about two minutes the first time. After that it's write, tweak, schedule.

    Add a custom integration

    In Ghost Admin, open Settings, then Integrations, and click Add custom integration. Name it Postoni.

  2. 2

    Copy the API URL and Admin API key

    Copy both values from the integration page. Use the Admin API key, not the Content API key.

    Connect in Postoni

    Paste the API URL and Admin API key into the Ghost connection form.

    Write and schedule

    Add a title, tags and excerpt, choose published or draft, and pick a time.

Does Postoni publish automatically to Ghost?

Yes. At the scheduled time Postoni creates the post through the Admin API with the status you chose, published by default.

Does it work with Ghost(Pro) and self-hosted Ghost?

Both. Custom integrations are available on every Ghost site, and the API URL tells Postoni where to send the post.

Is the post emailed to my members?

No. Postoni creates the post on your site. Send it as a newsletter from Ghost if you want members to get it by email.

Is there a Ghost character limit?

No hard limit on the body. Titles are capped at 255 characters and excerpts at 300.
