Connects through the API
Schedule social posts with Make
Make can start a scenario from almost anything, a new sheet row, a Shopify product, a form. Add an HTTP module that calls the Postoni public API and that trigger becomes a scheduled post on the networks you choose. Save posts as drafts if you want to review them first.

Set it up in four steps
- 1
Copy your Postoni API key
Sign up at postoni.com, connect your channels, and copy the API key from Settings.
- 2
Add an HTTP module
In your scenario, add the HTTP module Make a request and point it at https://postoni.com/api/public/v1. Add a header named Authorization with your API key as the value.
- 3
Get your channel IDs
Run one request to list your integrations. Each connected channel has an ID you will use when creating posts.
- 4
Create the post
Add a second request that creates a post with your text, media, channel IDs and date, mapped from the trigger. Run it once to test.
curl https://postoni.com/api/public/v1/integrations \
-H "Authorization: YOUR_API_KEY"Drafts wait for your approval
Anything Make creates lands as a draft on your Postoni calendar. Approve it, edit it, or bin it.
Prompts to try
Talk to it like a coworker who knows your calendar. A few to start with:
When a new product is added in Shopify, create a Postoni draft for Instagram and Facebook with the product photo.
Each new row in the Content sheet becomes a scheduled post at the date and time in column C.
When a YouTube video is published, schedule a post about it on X, LinkedIn and Bluesky an hour later.
Make and Postoni FAQ
Do I need a paid Make plan?
The HTTP module is available on Make's plans, including free, though operation limits apply. Each API call counts as an operation in Make. Postoni itself has no post limits on any plan.
Can Make posts wait for approval?
Yes. Create posts as drafts and they sit in your Postoni calendar until someone on your team approves them. Approvals for teams are on the Team plan and up.
Can a scenario start when Postoni publishes?
Yes. Add a webhook in Postoni Settings pointing at a Make custom webhook. Your scenario then runs each time a post is published.
Where are the API docs?
The public API lives at https://postoni.com/api/public/v1. It follows the open-source Postiz public API, so you can read those docs for request shapes and examples.
