The Manifesto

Why we built Postoni

Social media management software has historically been built for people who view content as a quota to be filled. We built Postoni for people who view content as a craft.

The "AI Copilot" Epidemic

Open any modern social scheduler, and you are immediately assaulted by sparkles. "Rewrite this." "Make it punchier." "Generate 10 variants." The software implies that your writing is insufficient and that its generic, homogenized output is better.

This is a lie. The internet is drowning in synthetically generated mediocrity. Brands that stand out do so because a specific human with a specific viewpoint wrote a specific sentence. Postoni has exactly zero AI writing features. We provide you with a blank page, strict character limits, and the tools to format your thoughts perfectly.

Volume is a Vanity Metric

"Post 3 times a day." "Feed the algorithm." These are edicts handed down by platforms desperate for inventory. Schedulers enable this behavior by making it frictionless to spam your audience across 8 networks simultaneously.

Postoni actively resists the cross-post. We believe that what works on LinkedIn fails on Twitter, and what works on Twitter fails on Threads. If a piece of content is worth publishing, it is worth native formatting. Our interface forces you to context-switch, ensuring you respect the medium.

"The tools we use shape the content we produce. A tool that prioritizes speed will produce thoughtless content. A tool that prioritizes precision will produce editorial rigor."

The Editorial Desk

We treat social channels not as distinct "feeds," but as distribution columns for your central editorial thesis. Postoni introduces concepts stolen from print journalism:

  • The Spike: A place to kill bad ideas before they see a queue.
  • The Copy Desk: Hard limits on readability and jargon.
  • The Art Department: A media library that demands alt-text before allowing attachment.

If you measure success by how many times you clicked "Publish" this week, Postoni will frustrate you. If you measure success by the quality of the conversation you provoked, welcome to the desk.
